PowerActions

I always liked quick one line scripts. So most of the scripts you will find here will be only a few lines.

‘PowerActions‘ lets you execute scripts from the vSphere web client by right clicking objects or selecting multiple objects you want to run scripts against. The nice thing with PowerActions is that all scripts you create are available by right clicking the objects you create the scripts for. These objects can be: all VMs, all datastores, all clusters, or subsets of any of there.

So what does it look like after you have installed PowerActions?

Once you have created your scripts, you can right click an object ( for which you created the PowerAction!) from the vSphere inventory and select PowerCLI > Execute script.
